I just read this review on the Memoright GT (http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=149&Itemid=1) drive, and wondered if you will have them on sale soon?

These guys have a lot of other SSD drives that they used in the review, so it looks like its the best. Why is it so much more expensive though?

SSDs, like cars, come in a wide range of performance. You can get a cheap Transcend that isn't even worth the $300 you spend on it, or you can spend more and really get something special. We specialize in providing a only high performance SSDs, but they start at under $400. We were the first to publish benchmarks on the Memoright GT at our benchmarks section, http://www.dvnation.com/benchmarks.html , including a test with 8X Memoright 128GB GTs...A 1TB volume! The 32GB GT will be $1122, but you can by an MTRON Mobi 32GB in 3.5" or 2.5" for $717 or less...And that's still a great drive.

Ok thanks! :)

Don't be angry at me webmaster, but I usually do not trust the salesman. So your benchmarks are fine and everything but I also want a professional opinion from inside the industry.

So it really is just like cars. I could take the salesmans word for it, or I could research it on my own and keep them "honest". ;)

I am not angry. I just want to let you know that we do not blindly repeat the specs that the manufacturers provide. We run the tests ourselves and post the results. We also made a convenient chart at http://www.dvnation.com/matrixspeed.html

That looks like it was a lot of work! I doubt the other people who sell these products do as much testing as you do. It also looks like your results matched what Anandtech and Benchmark Reviews found in their tests.

Hopefully the price of those GT's will come down so I can buy another SSD!

I have tried 12 128gb memoright with promise VTrak M300f and it not recognize them.
So i have tried putting them into an hp server with 8bays with a P400 controller, the disks work very well but the test speed are lower than the benchmark released into the site.
I have made the test with Atto using HP smart array p400 in raid0 on pci-express 4x and the best troughput was about 550Mb/s. I dont know if using a slot pci-express x8 is possible to have best performance. I have ordered a P800 controller that use 2 4x external and 2 4x internal channels.
My target configuration is to have an array of 12-16 disk in raid5 with small blocks to have best performance with Oracle.

Of course. Memoright GT SSDs are available in the order drop down box in the Memoright section. They have been for over a month. We have the 32GB GT in stock. We have several 128GB GTs shipping from the manufacturer on Mar 31st (orders are stacking up for this one). 64GB GT has come in and sold out, and we have ordered more. Click the left side ORDER box is for SATA. The right side ORDER box is for IDE. Currently, 3 of the SATA models are in GT trim (32GB, 64GB, 128GB SATA). http://www.dvnation.com/nand-flash-ssd.html#Memoright is where to find them all.
